2013 The 1st China-Korea Joint Symposium on Nondestructive Testing

“2013 The 1st China-Korea Joint Symposium on Nondestructive Testing” will be held in Beijing Friendship Hotel, Beijing, China, December 19-21, 2013. The symposium is organized by Beijing Institute of Technology, China and Pusan National University, Korea. The supporting organizations for this symposium also include Korean Society for Nondestructive Testing (KSNT), Chinese Society for Nondestructive Testing (ChSNDT) and Far East Nondestructive Testing (FENDT).


The theme of this joint symposium is to provide a chance for exchange of recent research ideas and fostering new developments and new applications on NDT field. Some latest research investigations and topics will be presented and discussed by professor Cho Younho and other present professors, scholars in this symposium, such as NDT on composites, Ultrasonic testing for Residual stress, Re-calibration fro Ultrasonic Transducers; Guided wave imaging techniques; Ultrasonic surface wave testing approach, et al. The plan collaboration between ChSNDT and KSNT, as well as some other international collaborative issues will be also discussed in this symposium. The C-K joint symposium on NDT is to provide an annual forum for strengthening the communication and international collaboration with KSNT and other international communities.

The symposium features a technical program consisting academic reports on three subjects:

(1) New theory and investigations of NDT;

(2) New techniques of NDT;

(3) Applications of new NDT techniques and approaches.  


The organizing committee is delighted to welcome all scientific and technical NDT experts to join 2013 The 1st C-K joint Symposium on NDT.
