Welcome to 11th International Far East Forum on Nondestructive Evaluation/Testing (FENDT2014)

June 20-23, 2014

Chengdu, Sichuan, China

The 11th FENDT (2014) will be hold in Chengdu, Sichuan province on 20th-23rd  June, 2014. International Far East Forum on Nondestructive Evaluation/Testing (FENDT) is an international symposium held annually in China since 2004 in Nanjing, with both English and Chinese as official language.The aim of FENDT conference is to provide a platform to exchange the experiences with colleagues around the world, to get in touch with the latest research results in science and learn more about new equipment from the NDT equipment companies.

FENDT2014 would like to collect papers of NDT research results, application cases, summary analysis from NDT researchers, manufacturers, end-users and technicians at home and abroad.

The major topics of FENDT2014 include but not limited to:

* Ultrasonic Evaluation/Testing

* Radiographic Testing and Eddy Current Testing

* Magnetic Particle Testing

* Acoustic Emission Technique

* NDT Image Processing Technology

* Infrared , Laser and Microwave Detection Technology

* Others

The conference papers that reviewed by experts organized will be published in Ultrasonics, Wave Motion, and cited by IEEE. The Forum will set up first/ second/third prizes, award certificates and bonus. Only papers presented will be included in the proceedings.

FENDT has a strong tradition of hosting exhibits of advanced NDT technology and products. Our exhibit tables are strategically-placed to foster interaction between the exhibitors and conference attendees, ensuring maximum exposure and interaction. We particularly encourage companies and other commercial entities or laboratories to participate in showcasing their products.

Papers Requirements:

1. Papers should be edited by Microsoft Word with technical thesis format, and setup in A4.

2. The wordage of each presentation is limited to 2500 words (maximum 2500 words) (including chart). Quotation and references should be stated.

3. The following content should be provided in both Chinese and English versions: the title of papers, author and his organization, abstract (about 200 words), 4-5 key words.

4. Please offer the information of lead author such as name, year of birth, gender, job title and professional orientation, as well as the address, zip code, mobile phone and e-mail when you send us your papers.
